Utah Interpleader Affidavit and Summons is a legal document that is used when multiple parties are claiming a right to the same property or funds. It is used to help the court determine who is rightfully entitled to the disputed funds. The affidavit is used to inform the court of the facts of the dispute and to inform the court that the funds are being held in a trust by the plaintiff. The summons is used to notify the parties of the lawsuit. There are three types of Utah Interpleader Affidavit and Summons: 1) the Original Interpleader Affidavit and Summons; 2) the Supplemental Interpleader Affidavit and Summons; and 3) the Amended Interpleader Affidavit and Summons. The Original Interpleader Affidavit and Summons is used to initiate the interpleader action and to identify the parties and the property/funds in dispute. The Supplemental Interpleader Affidavit and Summons is used to add additional parties to the action or to add additional property/funds to the action. The Amended Interpleader Affidavit and Summons is used when the information in the original or supplemental affidavits needs to be changed.
