Virginia Objection to Claim(s); Order and Notice of Opportunity for Hearing is a form used by creditors in Virginia to dispute a consumer's debt in a court of law. This form is used when a consumer files a claim against the creditor for the payment of a debt, and the creditor believes the debt is not owed or should not be paid. The document serves as a formal notice to the consumer that the creditor has filed an objection to the claim and that the consumer must appear in a Virginia court to dispute the debt. There are two types of Virginia Objection to Claim(s): Order and Notice of Opportunity for Hearing: Objection to Claim of Debt and Objection to Claim of Se toff. The Objection to Claim of Debt is used when the creditor denies that the debt is owed or should be paid. The Objection to Claim of Se toff is used when the creditor believes that the debt should be offset by a prior payment from the consumer. Both forms require the consumer to appear in court to dispute the debt.
