Vermont Notice of Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Case — No Proof of Claim Deadline (For Individuals or Joint Debtors) is a notice issued by the United States Bankruptcy Court in Vermont informing creditors that a debtor has filed a Chapter 7 bankruptcy petition and, as a result, their claims against the debtor are barred unless the creditor files a proof of claim with the court within a certain period of time. There are two types of Vermont Notice of Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Case — No Proof of Claim Deadline (For Individuals or Joint Debtors): (1) Individual Notice, which is sent to the creditors of an individual debtor, and (2) Joint Notice, which is sent to the creditors of joint debtors. Both notices contain a deadline for filing a proof of claim, information on the bankruptcy case, contact information for the court, and the address and phone number of the debtor’s attorney.
