A Washington Notice of Civil Appeal is a document that is filed by an appellant who is appealing a decision of a trial court in Washington. The Notice of Civil Appeal is the first step in the process of appealing a decision to the Washington Supreme Court or the Washington Court of Appeals. There are two types of Washington Notice of Civil Appeal. The first type is the Notice of Appeal from a Final Judgment. This is filed when an appellant is appealing a final judgment from a trial court. The second type is the Notice of Appeal from an Interlocutory Order. This is filed when an appellant is appealing an interlocutory order from a trial court. The Washington Notice of Civil Appeal must include certain information, such as the name of the trial court, the case number, the date of the decision being appealed and the party or parties involved in the appeal. In addition, the Notice of Civil Appeal must include the grounds for appeal and a statement of the relief requested. The Notice of Civil Appeal must also include a certification of the filing and a certificate of service. Once the Notice of Civil Appeal has been filed, the appellant must also submit to the court a record on appeal, which includes the documents and evidence from the trial court. The court will then review the Notice of Civil Appeal and record on appeal and either grant or deny the appeal.
