The Washington Dispute Resolution Center (DRC) is a nonprofit organization that offers conflict resolution services in Washington State. DRC provides dispute resolution services to individuals, organizations, and businesses throughout the state. DRC offers a variety of services, including mediation, arbitration, facilitation, and consultation. Mediation is a voluntary, confidential process in which an impartial third party facilitates communication and helps parties identify and explore potential solutions to their disputes. Arbitration is a legal process in which a neutral third-party arbitrator or panel of arbitrators makes an impartial decision based on evidence presented by the parties in a dispute. Facilitation is a collaborative process in which a neutral third-party helps people to identify and work through issues and come to agreements. Consultation is a service by which a neutral third-party provides advice and assistance to parties to a dispute. DRC also provides trainings, workshops, and other educational services related to dispute resolution.
