Washington Attorneys Certificate of Compliance is an official certification document issued by the Washington State Bar Association. It certifies that an attorney has complied with all the ethical rules and regulations of the Bar and is in good standing. The certificate is a requirement for attorneys who wish to practice law in the state of Washington. It is also a prerequisite for admission to the bar. There are two types of Washington Attorneys Certificate of Compliance: the Limited Practice Certificate and the General Practice Certificate. The Limited Practice Certificate is issued to attorneys who are not admitted to practice law in Washington, but are authorized to provide limited legal services to their clients in the state. The General Practice Certificate is issued to attorneys who are admitted to practice law in Washington and are authorized to provide legal services to their clients in the state.
