The Washington Notice of Death of Incapacitated Person is a document used by the courts in the state of Washington when a person who is unable to make decisions for themselves due to mental or physical incapacity passes away. This document is necessary for the court to appoint a personal representative or conservator to manage the deceased’s affairs. It is also used to determine who the heirs of the deceased are and to ensure that all the legal and financial obligations of the incapacitated person are taken care of. There are two types of Washington Notice of Death of Incapacitated Person. The first is the Limited Notice of Death of Incapacitated Person, which is used for cases where the incapacitated person had a limited estate and/or their death was expected. The second is the Full Notice of Death of Incapacitated Person, which is used for cases where the incapacitated person had a larger estate or their death was unexpected.
