The Washington Agreement To Proceed By Video Conference (WA PVC) is an agreement between parties to enter into a binding contract, for the purpose of resolving legal disputes through video conference instead of traditional in-person court proceedings. It is a voluntary agreement, meaning that all parties must agree to the terms of the agreement before proceeding. WA PVC is often used in cases where in-person proceedings are not possible or desirable, such as when parties are located in different regions or when court access is restricted due to safety concerns. There are two types of WA PVC: the Standard Washington Agreement To Proceed By Video Conference, and the Limited Washington Agreement To Proceed By Video Conference. The Standard version is a more comprehensive agreement, and covers all the rules and regulations involved in the video conference proceedings. The Limited version covers only those specific items that the parties have agreed upon in advance.
