Washington Limited Liability Partnership (LLP) Registration is a legal process that businesses must complete to form an LLP in Washington State. The process includes filing a Certificate of Limited Liability Partnership with the Secretary of State, obtaining a business license and registering with the Department of Revenue. By completing the registration process, the business is legally recognized as an LLP in Washington State, and is allowed to operate as a separate entity from its partners. There are two types of Washington LLP registration: standard and master. Standard Laps are limited liability partnerships that are formed by two or more partners and are subject to the laws of the state in which they are registered. Master Laps are partnerships formed by multiple Laps, and are subject to the laws of the state in which the master LLP is registered.
