Washington Extended Foster Care/Dependency Review Hearing Order (PRO)/Permanency Planning Hearing Order (ORP) are court orders issued by the Superior Court in the State of Washington. These orders are issued to assist the court in making decisions about the care and placement of children in foster care. The orders are issued for both Dependency Review Hearings (Pros) and Permanency Planning Hearings (Corps). Dependency Review Hearings (Pros) are held to review the progress of a child in foster care and to consider any proposed changes to the child's placement. The court will review the case and determine whether the current placement continues to be in the child's best interest. Permanency Planning Hearings (Corps) are held to review the child's long-term placement. The court will review the case and determine whether the child should remain in foster care, be placed with an adoptive family, or be reunited with their family. The Washington Extended Foster Care/Dependency Review Hearing Order (PRO)/Permanency Planning Hearing Order (ORP) are issued in order to ensure that all parties involved in the case have the necessary information to make an informed decision. The orders are intended to provide the court with a clear understanding of the child's needs and the best course of action for the child's future.
