Washington Order Appointing Attorney is an official document issued by the courts in the state of Washington to appoint an attorney to represent a litigant. This document is used when a person needs legal representation, but is unable to afford it and is unable to secure counsel on their own. It is filed with the court and the attorney is designated to represent the litigant in the case. There are two types of Washington Order Appointing Attorney: court-appointed counsel and special appointment of counsel. Court-appointed counsel is appointed by the court when a litigant cannot afford an attorney and requires legal assistance. Special appointment of counsel is appointed by the court in cases where the litigant's interests are not adequately represented by the court-appointed counsel.
