The Washington Motion for Revision is a type of motion used in Washington state courts. This motion is used when a party seeks to modify or overturn a judgment or order that was previously entered by the court. It is often used to challenge the findings of fact or conclusions of law made by the court in the original ruling. There are two types of Washington Motions for Revision: a Motion for Reconsideration, and a Motion for Relief from Judgment or Order. A Motion for Reconsideration allows a party to ask the court to reconsider its ruling on the basis of new evidence or information that was not available at the time of the original ruling. A Motion for Relief from Judgment or Order allows a party to ask the court to set aside the original ruling based on the grounds of mistake, inadvertence, surprise, excusable neglect, or fraud.
