Washington Order Modifying-Terminating Sexual Assault Protection Order is a court order issued by a Washington court that modifies or terminates a prior Sexual Assault Protection Order (SAP). A SAP is a civil court order that provides protection from a person who has been accused of committing a sexual assault. Washington Order Modifying-Terminating Sexual Assault Protection Order can either modify or terminate the original SAP in order to provide further protection for the victim or allow for certain contact between the parties. There are two types of Washington Order Modifying-Terminating Sexual Assault Protection Order: Modifying Order and Terminating Order. A Modifying Order is used to make changes to an existing SAP, such as changing the terms of the order or extending the duration of it. A Terminating Order is used to end the SAP completely. This type of order is typically used when the parties involved have reached an agreement or the alleged perpetrator has been found not guilty.
