Washington Application for Loss of Earning Power Vocational (WALE PV) is an application used in Washington State to assess the impact of an injury or illness on an individual's ability to work and earn an income. The application is completed by a vocational rehabilitation counselor and is part of the Vocational Rehabilitation Program. It assesses an individual's work history, current skills, educational background, physical and mental health, and other factors that might affect their ability to work. The two types of Washington Application for Loss of Earning Power Vocational are Initial Application and Update Application. The Initial Application is used when an individual is initially seeking vocational rehabilitation services and assesses their current skills and abilities. The Update Application is used when an individual has been enrolled in the program and has made progress in their job search or training. This application assesses the individual's progress and ability to return to work.
