Washington Application for Structured Settlement (WAS) is an online application developed by the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services. It is used to establish and manage structured settlement agreements between parties. Structured settlements are agreements between a plaintiff and a defendant in which the defendant pays the plaintiff a series of payments over a predetermined period of time. The Washington Application for Structured Settlement allows the parties to negotiate and finalize the terms of the settlement agreement. It allows for the creation of a customized payment schedule that meets the needs of both the plaintiff and the defendant. It also allows for the tracking of payments and the enforcement of the agreement. The Washington Application for Structured Settlement is available in two versions: the Standard version and the Advanced version. The Standard version is offered free of charge and can be used to create and manage simple structured settlements. The Advanced version is offered for a fee and allows for the creation of more complex settlements. It also includes additional features, such as the ability to create custom payment plans and the ability to track payments. Both versions of the application are available online for download.
