Washington Applies To Be an Electrical Inspector is a process that allows individuals to be certified as electrical inspectors in the state of Washington. Individuals who wish to become certified must meet the qualifications and requirements set forth by the state. These requirements include having a degree in electrical engineering, two years of experience in the area of electrical contracting, and passing the Electrical Inspector Certification exam. Individuals who successfully complete the application and certification process will be eligible to inspect electrical installations and ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code and other applicable safety regulations. There are two different types of Washington Electrical Inspector Certification: Journeyman and Master. The Journeyman certification is for individuals who have completed an approved electrical training program and have two years of experience in the field.
