Washington Health and Safety Awareness for Working Teens' wallet card is a resource for teens who work in Washington State to help them stay safe and healthy on the job. The wallet card provides information about Washington labor laws, workers’ rights, and health and safety guidelines. The card is broken down into four categories: Employment, Hours, Wages, and Health and Safety. The Employment section covers topics such as workers’ rights, breaks, and minimum wage. The Hours section covers topics such as shift duration, overtime, and rest periods. The Wages section covers topics such as tips, bonuses, and paychecks. The Health and Safety section covers topics such as hazardous materials, protective gear, and reporting an injury. There are two types of Washington Health and Safety Awareness for Working Teens' wallet cards: one for employers and one for workers. The employer version provides information on legal requirements, such as minimum wage and overtime, as well as guidance on worker safety and health. The worker version provides information on workers’ rights, including wages, breaks, and safety guidelines.
