Washington Homeowners Manufactured / Mobile Home Variance Request is a process that allows manufactured and mobile homeowners in Washington State to request a variance from local building codes. Homeowners can request a variance from local zoning ordinances in order to build or place a manufactured or mobile home on a plot of land that does not meet the minimum requirements for the construction of a permanent structure. This could involve requests for increased setbacks, reduced side-yard setbacks, reduced height restrictions, increased lot size, or other modifications to building codes. There are four different types of Washington Homeowners Manufactured / Mobile Home Variance Request: 1) Non-Conforming Lot Variance Request, 2) Size Variance Request, 3) Setback Variance Request, and 4) Accessory Structure Variance Request. Each type of request is subject to review by the local government, and must be accompanied by detailed drawings and plans in order to be considered.
