Washington Independent Medical Exam (IME) Doctor's Estimate of Physical Capacities is a form of medical evaluation that allows an independent medical doctor to assess an individual's physical capabilities. This form of evaluation is often used to determine eligibility for disability benefits, workers’ compensation, or to assess a claimant's physical capacity for employment.
