There are two types of Washington Plan Approval Request — Conversion Vendor / Medical Units: provider-initiated requests and HCA-initiated requests. Provider-initiated requests are submitted by organizations to the HCA, while HCA-initiated requests are initiated by the HCA in response to a provider request.
