Washington Safety Committees and Meetings are organized to promote workplace safety and health. The most common type of Washington Safety Committee is the Joint Safety Committee, which is made up of representatives from management and labor who meet regularly to review safety conditions, identify potential hazards, and develop safety plans. Other types of Washington Safety Committees and Meetings include the Accident Prevention Committee, which focuses on accident prevention and risk management; the Safety and Health Committee, which focuses on occupational safety and health; and the Safety Training Committee, which focuses on training and education. All of these committees and meetings focus on improving the safety and health of Washington workplaces.
