Washington Stay at Work Wage Reimbursement Application for Employers is a program offered by the Washington State Department of Labor and Industries (L&I). This program provides employers with wage reimbursement for wages paid to an injured worker while they are receiving medical treatment or vocational rehabilitation for an injury or illness covered by Washington State’s Industrial Insurance program. The program helps employers retain their injured workers while they are receiving medical treatment, and helps reduce the cost of lost wages incurred by the employer. There are two types of Washington Stay at Work Wage Reimbursement Applications for Employers: the Employer Retention Program (ERP) and the Temporary Partial Wage Reimbursement Program (TARP). The ERP provides up to 90% reimbursement of wages paid to an injured worker for up to one year. The TARP provides up to 50% reimbursement of wages paid to an injured worker for up to six months.
