Washington Stop Workplace Bullying (SHARP) is a statewide program created by the Washington State Department of Labor & Industries (L&I). It is designed to help prevent, address, and reduce workplace bullying and create a safer, healthier work environment for all employees. SHARP provides employers and employees with resources, tools, and information to help recognize workplace bullying and take action to stop it. Resources include a workplace bullying prevention training program, an online reporting system, and an online survey to assess the workplace climate. SHARP also provides employers with resources to create a bullying prevention plan and provides employees with information on how to report workplace bullying incidents. The program has three levels of resources: Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced. The Basic level provides general information on workplace bullying and prevention, while the Intermediate level offers more detailed information and resources for employers to create a bullying prevention plan and for employees to report incidents. The Advanced level provides resources and tools to help employers and employees assess their workplace climate and improve it.
