Washington Travel Reimbursement Request — Crime Victims is a reimbursement program for victims of crimes in Washington State. Victims can apply for funding to cover travel expenses related to their criminal case, such as transportation costs to attend court hearings, medical appointments, and services related to the crime. The program can also cover expenses for a personal support person to accompany the victim during travel. There are three types of Washington Travel Reimbursement Request — Crime Victims: 1) Standard Reimbursement Request, 2) Special Reimbursement Request, and 3) Emergency Reimbursement Request. The Standard Reimbursement Request is for victims of crimes who have already received a conviction. The Special Reimbursement Request is for victims of crimes who are still in the process of investigation or prosecution. The Emergency Reimbursement Request is for victims of crimes who require immediate travel for safety or health related reasons.
