Washington Your Body, Your Job: Preventing Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and Other Upper Extremity Musculoskeletal Disorders is an educational program designed to help prevent work-related musculoskeletal disorders (Wrists) of the upper extremities, including carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS). The program provides resources to employers, employees and safety and health professionals to help reduce the risk of developing CTS and other Wrists. The program is available in two versions: an online version for employers and employees, and a physical version for safety and health professionals. The online version of Washington Your Body, Your Job includes an interactive video, a self-assessment tool, and a range of resources to help employers and employees identify, reduce, and prevent potential risk factors for CTS and other Wrists. The physical version of the program includes a comprehensive set of materials, including a training video, an instructor’s guide, an employee guide, and a handout for employees. The program is designed to help employers and employees recognize the risk factors for CTS and other Wrists, and to take steps to reduce the risk of developing these disorders. The program also provides resources to safety and health professionals to help them provide effective training and education on the prevention of CTS and other Wrists. The program is available in both English and Spanish.
