This Dispute of Claim of Lien is for use by an individual prime contractor or subcontractor to dispute a claim of lien for the performance, furnishing, or procuring of labor, services, materials, plans or specifications used or consumed in making an improvement to property by a lien claimant. The right to the lien and to the moneys due or to become due the prime contractor or subcontractor shall be determined in an action brought by the claimant or the prime contractor/subcontractor. If such action is not brought within thirty (30) days after service of written notice of the lienor's claim upon the prime contractor or subcontractor, the lien rights under §779.036, Wis. Stats are barred.
