Wisconsin Declaration Re Electronic Filing (WERE) is a document that must be completed and filed by individuals who are required to file Wisconsin personal income tax returns electronically. Dress are required for the following types of filers: individuals, estates, trusts, estates of decedents, and corporations. Dress must be completed and signed by the taxpayer, and they must be filed with the Wisconsin Department of Revenue (FOR) prior to the due date of the tax return. Dress must be filed in order for the taxpayer to receive an e-file confirmation code, which is necessary for the electronic filing of the tax return. Dress must be kept on file for at least three years. There are two types of Wisconsin Declaration Re Electronic Filing documents: the Form WI-EF-001, which is used for individuals, and the Form WI-EF-002, which is used for estates, trusts, estates of decedents, and corporations.
