Wisconsin Emerald — Deer Park Intergov Cooperation 3-2-11 is an agreement that was created between the City of Deer Park and the Village of Emerald to facilitate the sharing of services and resources between the two municipalities. Through this agreement, the two municipalities share staff, equipment, and funding to provide services to both communities. The agreement is designed to reduce costs and improve efficiency for both municipalities. There are three different types of Wisconsin Emerald — Deer Park Intergov Cooperation 3-2-11: 1) Shared-Service Agreements, 2) Shared-Facility Agreements, and 3) Joint Funding Agreements. Shared-Service Agreements are agreements that allow the two municipalities to share personnel and equipment, while Shared-Facility Agreements allow the two municipalities to share facilities such as police and fire stations. Joint Funding Agreements allow the two municipalities to share funding for projects or services.
