Wisconsin Foreign Nonstick Corporation — Certificate of Authority Application and/or Amended Certificate is a document used by a business entity that is incorporated outside of Wisconsin to gain approval to do business in the state. This application must be filed with the Wisconsin Department of Financial Institutions and is required for any business entity that is incorporated outside of Wisconsin and wants to transact business within the state. There are two types of Wisconsin Foreign Nonstick Corporation — Certificate of Authority Application and/or Amended Certificate: (1) Initial Application and (2) Amended Certificate. The Initial Application is used by an entity that has not previously obtained a Certificate of Authority to do business in Wisconsin. The Amended Certificate is used by an entity that has previously obtained a Certificate of Authority, but is now making changes to its Certificate of Authority. Both application types must be accompanied by the appropriate filing fee and the necessary documents, such as a Certificate of Existence and Certificate of Authority from the state of incorporation.
