The Wisconsin Financing Statement Amendment Addendum is a legal form used to amend a financing statement in the state of Wisconsin. It allows the secured party to make amendments to the financing statement that was previously filed with the Wisconsin Department of Financial Institutions, such as changing the debtor name, adding additional collateral, or changing the secured party name. This document must be signed by both the secured party and the debtor, and then filed with the Secretary of State. There are three types of Wisconsin Financing Statement Amendment Addendum: Addendum to Financing Statement (UCC1-A), Amendment to Financing Statement (UCC1-E), and Continuation Statement (UCC1-C). The Addendum to Financing Statement (UCC1-A) is used to add additional collateral to an existing financing statement; the Amendment to Financing Statement (UCC1-E) is used to change the information in an existing financing statement, such as the debtor name or the secured party name; and the Continuation Statement (UCC1-C) is used to continue the effectiveness of the existing financing statement beyond the initial five-year filing period.
