Wisconsin Confidential Address Information in Domestic Abuse, Child Abuse, Individual at Risk, and Harassment Temporary Restraining Order and Injunction Actions is a program that provides protection to victims of abuse, harassment, and individuals at risk of harm by allowing their address information to remain confidential. This program allows victims to maintain an alternate address for court documents and other official correspondence. This address will be kept confidential and only used by the court for certain purposes. Types of Wisconsin Confidential Address Information in Domestic Abuse, Child Abuse, Individual at Risk, and Harassment Temporary Restraining Order and Injunction Actions include: Address Confidentiality Program, Address Substitution Program, and Safe at Home Program. The Address Confidentiality Program is a state-run program that allows domestic violence and sexual assault victims to keep their address confidential when filing restraining orders and other legal documents. The Address Substitution Program allows victims of harassment and stalking to keep their address confidential when filing restraining orders. Lastly, the Safe at Home Program allows victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, and harassment to keep their address confidential when applying for or renewing a driver’s license and other government services.
