Wisconsin Interpreter Request is an online service that provides access to qualified interpreters for those who are limited-English proficient (LEP) in the state of Wisconsin. The service provides access to interpreters who are certified by the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services (DSP) and interpreters who are credentialed through the National Center for State Courts (NTSC). There are two types of Wisconsin Interpreter Request: face-to-face and telephone/video conferencing. Face-to-face interpretation refers to an interpreter physically present in the same room as the LEP individual. Telephone/video conferencing interpretation refers to an interpreter providing remote interpretation services via telephone or video conferencing technology.
