Wisconsin Findings and Order Continuing Protective Placement — Order for Protective Services (Annual Review) is a court order that allows a child to remain in a protective placement for a certain period of time. The order is used in cases where a child is in need of protection due to abuse, neglect, or other forms of harm. It is issued by a court after an annual review of a child’s need for protective services. The order is issued by the court when it finds that the child’s need for protection is greater than the risk of harm in the home. The order must be renewed annually. There are two types of Wisconsin Findings and Order Continuing Protective Placement — Order for Protective Services (Annual Review): an initial order and a renewal order. The initial order is issued when the court determines that a child needs protective services and the renewal order is issued when the court determines that the child still needs protection.
