Wisconsin Sheriffs Report to Court/Writ of Repletion (Small Claims) is a legal document used to recover property that has been wrongfully taken or withheld. It is issued by a Wisconsin sheriff upon the request of a party to a small claims court action. The Writ of Repletion orders the sheriff to take possession of the disputed property and return it to the rightful owner. It also orders the defendant to appear in court to answer the complaint. There are two types of Wisconsin Sheriffs Report to Court/Writ of Repletion (Small Claims): 1) General Repletion and 2) Special Repletion. General Repletion is used when the property is taken without legal authority, and the plaintiff seeks to regain possession of it. Special Repletion is used when the plaintiff seeks to recover property that has been wrongfully taken or withheld, and the defendant has been served with a summons. In either case, the Writ of Repletion is served on the defendant, the sheriff takes possession of the disputed property, and the case is heard in court.
