Wisconsin Vocational Expert Verified Report (NEVER) is a document used to assess an individual's employability, earning capacity, and vocational rehabilitation needs. This report is created by a certified vocational expert and is used by employers, disability benefit providers, and other organizations to establish an individual's ability to work, potential earning capacity, and the necessary accommodations for them to be successful in a job. The report includes an analysis of the individual's vocational aptitude, transferable skills, education, work history, and current disability status. The NEVER also includes assessment of the individual's employability, potential earnings, and vocational rehabilitation needs. The report is often used in the process of applying for Social Security Disability benefits. There are two types of Wisconsin Vocational Expert Verified Report: Initial Reports and Re-Evaluation Reports. An Initial Report is used to assess an individual's employability and earning capacity for the first time. A Re-Evaluation Report is used to reassess an individual's employability and earning capacity based on changes in the individual's work, medical, or educational history.
