West Virginia Dissolution of Voluntary Association — Domestic(Expedite service not available) is a process for dissolving a West Virginia-based voluntary association. A voluntary association is an organization that has been formed for a specific purpose, such as a charitable, educational or religious organization. This process allows the association's board members to formally dissolve the organization and cease operations, in accordance with West Virginia state law. It includes filing the appropriate paperwork with the West Virginia Secretary of State's office, notifying creditors, distributing assets, and other necessary steps. There are two types of West Virginia Dissolution of Voluntary Association — Domestic(Expedite service not available): (1) Standard Dissolution, and (2) Expedited Dissolution. Standard Dissolution is the most common type and is the only type available with to expedite service option. Expedited Dissolution is only available in certain circumstances and requires additional paperwork.
