Wyoming Abatement 7. Order on Abatement is a legal document issued by the Wyoming Department of Revenue that grants a taxpayer relief from the payment of taxes. This abatement applies to both personal and business taxes and is used to reduce the amount of tax liability owed by a taxpayer. There are three types of Wyoming Abatement 7. Order on Abatement: 1) Temporary, 2) Permanent, and 3) Partial. The Temporary Abatement allows a taxpayer to delay or suspend payment of taxes for a certain period of time. The Permanent Abatement eliminates a taxpayer’s tax liability for a particular year. The Partial Abatement reduces the tax liability for a particular year. In order to qualify for a Wyoming Abatement 7. Order on Abatement, the taxpayer must be able to demonstrate that they are financially unable to pay the taxes due. The Department of Revenue will consider a variety of factors such as income, assets, expenses, and other financial information before granting the abatement.
