Wyoming CSR 9. Order Setting Modification Trial and Requiring Pretrial Statements is an order issued by the Wyoming Supreme Court that applies to civil cases in Wyoming state courts. The order establishes procedures for trial courts to modify trial settings and to require pretrial statements from parties. The order requires the parties to file a written pretrial statement at least twenty-one days prior to the scheduled trial date setting forth issues remaining to be tried, stipulations of fact, the nature of the controversy, the relief sought, and any other matters that may expedite the trial. The order also allows the trial court, upon motion, to modify the trial setting to accommodate parties or witnesses. There are two types of Wyoming CSR 9. Order Setting Modification Trial and Requiring Pretrial Statements: those for civil cases and those for criminal cases. The order applies to all civil cases in Wyoming state courts, regardless of whether the case is a jury or non-jury trial. The order also applies to criminal cases in which the defendant has waived the right to a jury trial.
