Wyoming Domestication Articles are legal documents that are used to change the status of certain entities from their current form to a domesticated entity. These articles are regulated by the Wyoming Secretary of State and must be filed in order to be recognized as a domesticated entity in the state of Wyoming. Wyoming Domestication Articles can be used to change the status of corporations, limited liability companies (LLC's), limited partnerships (LP's), and other business entities. The Articles contain various information such as the name of the entity, the address of the registered office, and the name of the registered agent. They also list the names of the members or managers, the purpose of the entity, and the initial capital contribution. Additionally, the Articles must be signed by all the members or managers of the entity in order for them to be valid. There are two types of Wyoming Domestication Articles: Domestic Articles and Foreign Domestication Articles. Domestic Articles are used to register an entity in the state of Wyoming, while Foreign Domestication Articles are used to register an entity that was formed in another state.
