The Wyoming Appendix C Joint Final Pretrial Memorandum is a document that is completed prior to the commencement of a trial. It serves as an agreement between both parties to the litigation, setting out the evidence and issues that will be presented at trial. The Joint Final Pretrial Memorandum is typically filed in the district court in which the trial is to be held. The Memorandum typically outlines the facts of the case, the witnesses and the evidence that is to be presented, as well as the legal issues to be discussed and decided upon at trial. It also sets out the proposed trial schedule as well as the parties’ respective positions and any stipulated facts. There are three main types of Wyoming Appendix C Joint Final Pretrial Memoranda: (1) Stipulated Memoranda; (2) Joint Memoranda; and (3) Unilateral Memoranda. With a Stipulated Memorandum, both parties agree to the terms of the Memorandum and sign it. With a Joint Memorandum, both parties agree to the terms but only one party signs it. With a Unilateral Memorandum, one party agrees to the terms and signs it alone.
