The Wyoming Amendment to Articles is a document that is used to alter the Articles of Incorporation of a Wyoming business entity. This document may be used to change the name of the company, change the address of the company, add or remove officers or directors, change the purpose of the company, or otherwise modify the Articles of Incorporation. The Wyoming Amendment to Articles must be filed with the Wyoming Secretary of State in order to be legally binding. There are two types of Wyoming Amendment to Articles available: a Certificate of Amendment and an Amended Articles of Incorporation. The Certificate of Amendment is used to make minor changes to the Articles of Incorporation, such as changing the company name or address, while the Amended Articles of Incorporation is used to make more substantial changes to the Articles, such as changing the purpose of the company or adding or removing officers or directors.
