Wyoming MISC GA 4. Order for Service by Publication is a form used in the state of Wyoming when a defendant in a civil lawsuit cannot be located. The form is used to have service of process accomplished when the defendant is not known or is “hiding” from the plaintiff. The form is used to serve notice of the lawsuit to the defendant via a public notice. The Order for Service by Publication is used in conjunction with the Wyoming MISC GA 5. Notice of Publication. The Wyoming MISC GA 4. Order for Service by Publication consists of the following sections: Name of Court, Name of Plaintiff, Name of Person Sued, Name of Newspaper, and Name of Clerk. It also includes a section for the court to sign and date. The Order for Service by Publication must be signed by a judge in order for service of process to be effective. The Order must be filed with the court clerk and the Notice of Publication must be sent to a newspaper in the county where the defendant resides.
