Wyoming Claim for Child Support Abatement is a legal process in which an individual can request a reduction in their child support obligation. The abatement is granted when the individual can demonstrate that they are no longer able to pay the full amount of child support due to a change in circumstances. Generally, the abatement is granted in cases of involuntary termination of employment, reduction in wages, or an increase in medical expenses or other financial obligations. There are two types of Wyoming Claim for Child Support Abatement: Temporary Abatement and Permanent Abatement. A Temporary Abatement is a temporary reduction of child support payments and can be granted for up to one year. A Permanent Abatement is a permanent reduction of child support payments and can be granted for a period of time determined by the court.
