Remove a page break from a Word document On the Home tab, in the Paragraph group, click Show/Hide to show all formatting marks including page breaks. Double-click the page break to select it, then press Delete. Click Show/Hide again to hide the remaining formatting marks in the document.

Select the paragraph following the unwanted page break. On the Format menu, select Paragraph, and then select the Line and Page Breaks tab. Clear the Keep lines together, Keep with next, and Page break before check boxes.

To start a new page, from the Insert tab, select Page Break. In the Page Layout tab, from the Margins drop-down menu, select Custom Margins.... In the Page Setup window, click the Margins tab. Under "Orientation", change the page orientation to the desired setting (Portrait or Landscape).

Page breaks allow you to have more control over the layout of your document. You might use a page break if you're writing a paper that has a title page or a bibliography to ensure it starts on a new page.

Open a Google Doc. Click under the page break. On your keyboard, press Backspace or Delete until the page break is removed.

Remove a Break on Windows To remove a page break in Google Docs on Windows, place your cursor in front of the text at the top of the page. Then, press Backspace. This moves the content up to the previous page. To remove a section break on Windows, place your cursor on the line directly above the section break.

Click the worksheet that you want to modify. On the View tab, in the Workbook Views group, click Page Break Preview. on the status bar. To move a page break, drag the page break to a new location.

Click in the section that now starts with a Next Page break that you want to change back to Continuous. From the OS X menu at the top of your screen, choose Format>Document. Select the Layout pane. Change the Section start: dropdown to Continuous, then OK out.

Click the Microsoft Office Button, click Excel Options, and then click the Advanced tab. Click to select the Enable fill handle and cell drag-and-drop check box, and then click OK.

If you have difficulty deleting a section break, click the View tab in the Ribbon and select Draft in the Views group. Select the break by dragging over it and then press Delete.
