Add Bullets Text For Free

The quickest way to add and remove single level bullet points from your paragraphs is to use the Bullets button on the Formatting toolbar. Bullets - Applies the default bullet format to the selected paragraphs. Using this button will apply the default "Bulleted" list style to your paragraph.

Choose a new bullet or numbering formatClick a bullet or number in the list that you want to change.On the Home tab, under Paragraph, click the arrow next to Bullets or Numbering.Click the bullet or numbering list format that you want in the Bullet Library or the Numbering Library.

Go to Home and select the down arrow next to the Bullets button. In the drop down menu, select Define New Bullet. Select Symbol and find a box character. If you don't initially see one, change Font to Wingdings or Segoe UI Symbol.

The bullet library will have a collection of bullet styles including the square bullet. Click define new bullet to proceed to the next step, followed by symbol and OK. Here under the Wingdings font category, you can see a hollow square bullet, which is very common in many documents. Select OK to proceed.
