You will notice when you open a log file there are small lights next to each line number in the log. When you click on one of these, a bubble will appear over the line that allows you to type your comments directly into the file. Repeated clicks of the small lights will hide and show your comment.

Go to Control Center > Manage External Modules and enable Auto Populate Fields. For each project you want to use this module, go to the project home page, click on Manage External Modules link, and then enable Auto Populate Fields for that project.

Track changes does not need to be on for comments to be added. Position the insertion point where you want the comment, or select the text to be commented on. Click the Review tab and choose . Type the comment text in the comment balloon.
