Add Photo Statement Of Work For Free

My personal opinion would be a NO. I'll keep it brief. I never used a photograph in my SOP, haven't heard of anyone using it. So I personally would suggest not to use it.

The statement is an introduction and supplement to the work, not a detailed description or a biography of your life with a camera. Take a look at all you have written down and organize it in a way that makes sense and tells the most cohesive story.

While it can be given a personal touch, it is still an academic piece that will be looked at by university officials and must be treated as such. With images, there is a possibility of bias/ unwanted visuals that could creep in - this is also why your application will not include your photograph in most cases.
