Adjust Age License For Free

Mostly state law says you must be 21 or older to purchase alcohol. It says nothing about what any particular merchant of alcohol will find acceptable as identification. You should be able to use such identification to prove that you are in fact over 21.

Teens who complete driver's education can apply for an unrestricted license at 17 years old. Otherwise, an unrestricted license will be issued automatically to junior license holders once they reach 18 years old.

If you're over 25 years old, you don't need a certificate from an adult drivers ed course. Just make an appointment for a Texas learners permit over 25 at the DPS. There, you will take your written licensing exam, and vision and hearing tests, before getting behind the wheel for your road test.

If you are under age 18, you must wait at least 6 months from the date you received your learner permit to schedule your road test.

New York does allow 17-year-old drivers to apply for a senior license if they have completed a state-approved driver education course. You must apply for the senior license at the DMV by presenting your course completion certificate in person.

If you are 17, you are eligible for a senior driver license (Class D or M) if you have a junior driver license or limited junior driver license and have completed a state-approved high school or college driver education course.

Every California license expires on your birthday five years after it's issued. You can renew your license up to six months before expiration and up to two months after it's expired. About two months prior to the expiration you should receive a renewal notice in the mail from the California DMV.
