In early 2022, the 6th Ice Age Film and its first spin-off was released called Ice Age: The Adventures of Buck Wild, It was the return of the Franchise in over 6 years since its last movie.

Age-adjusted rates are not "real rates", but are a hypothetical number constructed by using a population standard. Primary prevention takes place after the formation of disease in the host (i.e., individual). Changing the duration of a disease can impact its prevalence.

An adjusted rate is an artificially created figure that enables comparison across time and space. It should only be compared with another adjusted rate that was computed using the same "standard" population. However, it does provide a single figure which can be easily used and adapted for comparative analysis.

"Crude Rate" refers to rates per 100,000 population. "Age-Adjusted Rate" refers to rates that are calculated as if the deaths occurred in a population with the same age structures. As the CDC website explains: "Some injuries occur more often among certain age groups than others.

The mortality rate is the number of people who die in a given year and area, divided by the population of that area. The formula is simple: D divided by P. D is the number of deaths, and P is the population of that area.

That is, for each age group, ASDR = deaths in age group ÷ estimated population of that age group × 100,000. This is called the direct method of standardization. A given area's age-specific rate (overall or for a given cause) is applied to the U.S. standard population.

"Ice Age 2: The Meltdown" takes the good from the first movie, builds on it by adding funnier characters and moving the story into a good direction. All the characters are back, Manny(Ray Romano), Sid(John Leguizamo), and Diego(Denis Leary) for a new adventure.
