You are trying to send a fax to a number that is blocked or outside your area code. Your fax machine could not establish a connection with your telephone line or modem. Your fax machine fails to connect with your receiver's phone line. There is a problem with your fax machine's automatic document feeder or wire cables.

To retrieve documents stored on another fax machine, use remote polling. At the printer control panel, press the Clear All button, then press the Services Home button. Touch Fax > Polling. Touch Retrieve/Print Remote Files. To enter the fax number, use the control panel touch screen. Touch OK.

From the Home screen on the printer control panel, select Reports, and then select Fax Reports. Select the log or report to print or view. Select the Print or View button.

Touch App Settings?Fax App. Touch Setup Fax Reports. Touch Fax Activity Report, then touch an option: To print an activity report that shows all fax transactions, select Auto Print.

From the Home screen, touch the Fax button. Touch the Fax Menu button. Touch the Fax Reports button. Touch the Print All Fax Reports button.

Checking If Documents Are Sent or Received Successfully Press (Status Monitor). Press <Send> or <Receive> <Job Log>. To display only fax documents, select <Fax> from the drop-down list in the upper-right of the screen. Check if documents are sent or received successfully.

Check the history of received or sent faxes. Press [ ] (Status Monitor/Cancel). Press [ ] or [ ] to highlight <Fax Job Status/History>, and then press [OK]. Press [ ] or [ ] to highlight <Job History>, and then press [OK].
